2010 Peru Team Prayer Requests
Group prayer requests while in Peru
Please pray:
For safe travel, health and protection while there
That our preparations will meet the need we are hoping to address
Joyful anticipation in our team
Team Unity - that we would work well together and be a blessing to the Peruvians
Good rest/sleep at night
Wisdom and good communication
Humility, servant hearts, patience and a spirit of joy (even if we encounter trials)
That people would be transformed by the gospel; that the Lord would accomplish His work in us as individuals and as a group
That the Lord would be glorified in our humble efforts
Individual Team Member Prayer Requests
Meet the team
John Heyward (Grace Community Church pastor) -
- For God's wisdom in preparing talks for a leadership seminar and a family seminar
- For God's peace to calm my heart as I move outside of my comfort zone
- For God's love to be displayed among our team and to all those we interact with in Peru.
- For God's churches in Lima, Peru and Lima, Ohio to be built up as a result of this trip.
Carey Hutchinson -
- That I would honor God in everything I do: that His Spirit would be in control of me completely
- For my husband and children while I am gone (and that I would not be anxious and worried about them while I am away)
- That I would be open and flexible to however God wants to use me: that I would trust Him to give me the ability to complete whatever He sets before me.
Megan Kinnear -
- For the family that I'm leaving behind: that Chad doesn't feel too overwhelmed with caring for the girls while managing his work and school schedules
- That I would be able to be a good witness to the Peruvians: that I would be able to speak of God's love through my actions
- That I would not feel too sad while being away from my family so that I can focus on the mission; and that my girls would not be too sad and confused in my absence.
Mark Mayer -
- That I would surrender everything to the Lord's work

- For unity in our group
- That we would all grow closer as a group through this trip
- For the church in Peru to be bless by our presence there
Liz Ward -
- That God would prepare me physically, emotionally and spiritually for this trip
- That God would protect and intimately minister to my family while I'm away
- That I would leave the details of my absence in God's hands
- That God would fill our team up "to the measure with all the fullness of God," empty us of ourselves, and keep our hearts, minds and eyes fixed on Him
- That God would do might things in the lives of those in Lima, Peru
