About the team

Carey: My husband Trevor and I have been married for 12 years. We have been members of Grace Community Church for about seven years. I am a former elementary school teacher, and currently a stay-at-home-mom for Noah (8), Abby (6), Natalie (4), and Elise (2).

John: I have been the pastor at Grace Community Church for 15 years. My wife Katie and I have two children, Ann (18) and Tim (13).
Katie and I were on the first team to Peru, and Katie and Ann were on last year's team. I'm excited about how God has put together this year's team and look forward to how He is going to work in and through each one of us.

Christina:
I am 22 years old and live in Lima, Ohio with my family. I work for my father laying floors, and am also self employed cleaning houses. I am interested in missions and have had several cross cultural opportunities to serve: three months in the Czech Republic, one year in Mexico and one month in Grenada. In my spare time I help lead a local community youth group which has been really fun.

Liz:
I am married to Shawn and have three boys: Jarod (15), Rylan (11), and Seth (10).  I am a home schooling mom and a Teens For Christ chapter director and Bible teacher for the Elida Sr. High Chapter and Lima's Juvenile Detention Center.  My family and I have attended Grace Community Church for more than 10 years. Some of Liz's favorite things are: intentional time with family, extended periods of playtime, and quite, intimate times communing at the feet of my Jesus. I have a genuine desire to see the people of God learn to walk out their abundant life in Christ.

Mark: I have served on two previous teams to Lima, Peru. I am married to Kim. We have six children: Lindsay (22), Gretchen (20), Derek (18), Austin (17), Ryan (14) and Tyler (12). I farm our family farm with my brother. I also serve as a deacon at Grace Community Church.

Megan: My husband Chad and I have been walking with the Lord for about five years. I am a stay-at-home mom for our two daughters: Juliette (4) and Elizabeth (1). I also own a public relations business that allows me to work part-time from home. I enjoy playing games and sports of all kinds.

John 14:6 - Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life.

No one comes to the Father except through me."
